With a big shout out to Nocturnal who came onto the forum this week to gather opinion on his instrumentals for an EP. We ran a vote on his beats to determine which the forum felt were best for an EP. We can now reveal the results.

If you’ve not heard the beats yet, go to www.myspace.com/thenocturnalist and have a listen. I’ve personally listened bare over the last couple of days, some absolute bangers on there.

Brandon “Maniac” Jolie is an 18 year old Grime producer from Bow, East London.

Whilst growing up, Maniac was heavily involved in football; at age 13 he was part of West Ham Youth Academy and Tower Hamlets & Hackney district’s squad. He also had trials for London u14’s football team. Maniac’s love for football slowly faded away as music grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.
Maniac is known for his angry, hype-inducing yet technical beats; and is one of the most highly rated producers in the Grime scene.

Maniac’s productions have featured in films such as “Adulthood”, and he has also received television airplay, on BBC drama “Eastenders” and various programmes on Channel Four. Maniac has recently completed a project with Tinchy Stryder entitled “Tinchy Stryder vs Maniac”
